Rownhams House has been providing office space since the 1950s, and we are flattered that many companies have chosen to stay with us for a long time. In fact it has become almost standard practice for companies to move around our different rooms and suites as their requirements change over time.

Our location, with easy access to Southampton and the M27/M3 motorway network, combined with our realistic, business friendly approach to Leases has resulted in our seldom having a great deal of empty space.

Our beautiful and tranquil surroundings also allow both you and your staff to work within an enviable environment; and one that is guaranteed to impress your visitors. Unique meeting and conference rooms are also conveniently available.

Rownhams House is Carbon Negative

We offer flexible leases. These are mostly for 3 years with no rent reviews but after an agreed period you are able to give us notice and leave. This saves you from the trouble and expense of finding a replacement tenant which is a frequent requirement of many commercial leases. The major advantage to you is that you can avoid entering into a long term commitment within a fast changing business environment.

We are happy to consider flexible terms to suit your specific requirements.

Our offices are partially serviced – which means that we relieve you of many administrative chores.

These include: cleaning, buildings maintenance, fire alarms, security alarms, buildings insurance, commercial rubbish disposal; and of course gardening! We also have an on-site caretaker.

Apart from rent and a competitive service charge you pay only for Rates, for your own telephones and for the electricity that you use. The service charges are apportioned on a square foot basis to the nearest penny and a detailed account of the year’s expenditure is submitted to you annually. We do not operate those contentious ‘sinking funds’ whereby occupants are billed for unspecified future expenditure. What you see is what you get and no funny business.
